Life sometimes makes us forget we have wings, counselling can help you remember.
About Me
Hello, I'm Louise.
I'm a qualified Humanistic Counsellor with a variety of experience supporting adults (16+) through a range of life's challenges. Alongside my private practice I have worked with people affected by Cancer and their family/friends. As well as foster carers, parents and carers of family members with additional needs and students at Southampton and Bournemouth Universities. Before retraining as a counsellor I was an Early Years Teacher for over 15 years an experience that continues to shape my understanding of relationships, development and the importance of feeling truly seen and heard.
Whether you are are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, grieving, facing change or simply looking for somewhere to pause and reflect, I'd be honoured to walk alongside you on your life journey.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be navigating a recent Cancer diagnosis, supporting someone you love, balancing the demands of caring for others, overwhelm from studies or simply feeling that you've lost sight of yourself. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone. I offer a warm compassionate and confidential space where you can feel heard, understood and supported as you reconnect with your own truth and move forward at a pace that feels right for you.
People come to me for help with a wide range of issues. Here are a few of the more common difficulties that can be supported through therapy:
Depression
Problems with confidence or self-esteem
Anger management
Difficulties at work or in retirement
Problems with family or school, university life
Feelings of stress or anxiety
Panic attacks
Relationship problems
Grief, loss or bereavement
Trauma and post-traumatic stress
Caring Responsibilities
